Neil discusses the beginning of Lent and the temptation of Jesus in the desert.  We are tempted every day in so many ways to turn away from God toward physical comforts, toward power over this world, and toward spiritual distractions.  This is a season to clear our minds and to be able to more readily see God’s direction for us.
