Kids Worship Through Play!

At St. Dunstan’s, we like to include our children in the regular Sunday worship service.  Sometimes this is a bit much for the little ones who can grow tired of sitting still and paying attention. The Pray Ground is a special area in the front of the church where children can move around a bit and work on coloring books or other projects yet still be in church to hear the liturgy and the music. The Children’s Ministry Director and another parishioner or parent stays with the children during the service. During the sermon, the children attend an age-appropriate class with the Director.  When it’s time for communion, they can stay with the Pray Ground Group or meet up with their parents to receive communion. They can then stay with their parents or in the Pray Ground until the end of the service.
