Lenten Soup Supper Study — Keeping a Holy Lent

The Book of Common Prayer invites us every year to the observance of a “holy Lent” with the following words:

“I invite you, therefore, in the name of the Church, to the observance of a holy Lent, by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word.”

Learn more about these ancient practices as we dig deeply into the meaning, history, and observance of these observances of the Church. Our clergy will present information based on our tradition, Scripture, and Prayer Book, among others!
