The following are St. Dunstan’s Standing Committees.
If you wish to serve on any of these committees, please contact the church office.

Personnel Committee

  • Reviews personnel policies and revises them as needed.
  • Evaluates staff needs, and assists the rector in recruiting and hiring new staff personnel.
  • Works with the business administrator to ensure all proper documents are given and received for new hires.

The committee chair, along with the Senior Warden, are responsible for the required evaluation of the rector. The Personnel Committee meets in the Conference Room, the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. or as needed.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible to the Vestry for overseeing all financial activities of the church. The Finance Committee has eight members, each with a three-year term. The committee works closely with the church treasurer and business administrator in the preparation of the annual budget and the reporting and analysis of monthly income and expenses. They also support the smooth operation of the church from a financial perspective and play an active role in managing the various church funds, such as the building, endowment, plant, and memorial funds.

Vestry
The Vestry members are elected by the Parish at the annual meeting to serve a three-year term. Each year, four new members are elected while four members cycle off. The Vestry serves as the governing body of the church along with the rector. They meet once a month. Vestry meetings are open to all parishioners.
