FACADS

First Friday of each month, 6:30 pm

The Friday Afternoon Chowder and Debating Society is a very loosely-structured monthly gathering of friendly parishioners. It is not a “group” in any definitive sense. There is no purpose except socializing. No membership list, except those who drop in; no special events or activities. All that is asked is a donation of $5.00 per person to cover food and beverage costs. Any and all adults are invited to meet in various homes for a soup supper and warm fellowship. Couples, singles, friends of friends, are all welcome. Locations published in the Mini Steeple.

ST. JOSEPH’S GUILD

All men of the parish are members of St. Joseph’s Guild. The group not only promotes an opportunity for fellowship by sponsoring a yearly “Steak ‘n Stein” dinner meeting with a featured speaker, but also sponsors the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. The men provide a ready labor pool for campus maintenance and building projects.

SOFTBALL TEAM

St. Dunstan’s is fortunate to have a dedicated group of people who love to play softball. The team has celebrated a number of championships in recent years. Come share in the fun as a player or spectator. Open to all high school students through adults.

SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM

Fourth Thursday of each month, Parish Hall

All seniors of the parish and the community are welcome to attend. Invite neighbors and friends for a delicious meal, fellowship and entertainment for $7 per person. Social time is 11:30 am. The buffet luncheon is served at 12 noon. See the Mini Steeple for details.

MUSIC SERIES

Seven concert programs a year, with festive receptions afterwards, are presented for the community. The San Diego Brass Quintet, the Yale Russian Choir, classical guitarists and many others have performed in our sanctuary. If you enjoy music and fellowship, come join us. Free childcare is provided. Music patrons are also very much appreciated.
