THE NURSERY

The Nursery welcomes all children ages birth through two years during each of our worship services, Wednesday evening Centerpoint, the music concerts and at various special events throughout the year. The children are given lots of love and attention, and are engaged in playing games during their visit to our nursery.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School is offered at 9:15 AM for ages three through fourth grade, with a Bible-based curriculum. All children are brought to the sanctuary in time to join their parents for the Communion portion of worship.

COMMUNION CLASS

Communion class is typically for children in the second grade with a focus on learning about the eucharistic service. See the Mini Steeple newsletter for date and time.

CENTERPOINT - WEDNESDAY

6:30 - 7:30 PM

"Little Kids Time," for preschoolers and kindergartners, will help young children grow more aware of God's love, care and help in their everyday lives.

"Kids Time," for first graders and older children, will teach our Episcopal beliefs and the reasons why we believe them.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES SPECIAL EVENTS

Children's Ministries sponsor special events throughout the year, including the semiannual teachers' Appreciation Coffee, Advent Celebration, and Lenten events. The first Sunday of each month, there is family worship in the sanctuary, with active participation by the children.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

During the summer, a week-long vacation Bible school program is offered to children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The children discover Bible lessons, in fun and creative ways, making for a memorable experience.

Under African Skies, our 2007 summer vacation bible school will take place the week of Monday, July 23 through Friday, July 27; 9 AM – 12 Noon. Registration packets will be available for pickup in the courtyard on Sundays, beginning on May 6th, and in the church office during the week...

The registration deadline is July 16 and is limited to the first 30 children. Children entering kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to attend. The cost is $25 per child for the entire week of fun. During this week long vacation bible school, we will explore Africa, learn about its people, culture, bugs and the importance of water. We will also touch on global responsibility and ‘who is my neighbor?’ Special guests will be dropping in during the week sharing their knowledge of African history, art and culture. Don’t miss out, registration begins on May 6!
